Today marks the beginning of the Virtual Rare Art Festival 2020 and we couldn’t be more excited! More commonly known as The Rare Art Festival (RareAF), this year’s event has gone fully virtual due to the global pandemic, but fitting nonetheless given the virtual and global nature of the rare digital art community.
The event aims to bring together all the contributors to the rare digital art movement, to collectively reflect, learn and push the movement forward.

A New Visual Toy by Javier Arrés 🔥

Javier Arrés is a world-renowned motion / GIF artist and a 2019 London Art Biennale winner. Arrés is known for his manically detailed illustrations of fantastical scenery from cities, architecture and machines. He further brings these worlds to life through what he calls “Visual Toys” in which Arrés invites the viewer into a fantastical world, inspiring the viewer to simply play with their imaginations.
We’re excited to unveil a brand new and original Visual Toy by Javier Arrés — The Investor’s Dream. A continuation in his crypto-inspired Visual Toys, this piece shares the perspective of the hopeful investor. A magical, happy and colorful dream, a visual wonderland for the Crypto HODLer.
Virtual Scavenger Hunt

With the opening of our newest exhibit, The Prelude, we’ll also be hosting a virtual scavenger hunt this weekend. Here’s your chance to have some fun while viewing all the beautiful artwork on display.
