In Babylonian mythology, Chiun was the god of the stars of the universe. The name "Chiun" has a complex linguistic origin, and is equivalent to the Greek god Saturn. Chiun was mentioned in the Bible as a man-made, false idol, worshipped by ancient Israelites in the Old Testament. The hexagram star (Star of David) is closely attributed to Chiun, in connection with other star gods such as Remphan, Sikkuth, and even Metatron in other mythologies. Christian accounts claim that Chiun was a dark deity, and was possibly a fallen angel. Other historical accounts even goes as far to say that Chiun's "star" was somehow connected to King Solomon's practice of dark magic.
