This work was created in the context of a challenge by Annie Stegg*, inspired by her piece "Cordelia". The "Draw This in Your Style" Challenge invites artists to recreate an artwork in their own styles, changing anything they like. That's what I did! Inspired by her character, I put my own twist on it and changed elements, while painting it in my own way.

This is one of my all time favorite paintings. In a state of flow throughout the process, I completely loved every single bit of painting it. To express the innocence of the child, I used soft rendering, light and colors. Hope this piece can be as special to you as it is to me. Please enjoy.
