This animation describes what it’s like to crave drugs after being sober for years.
The cycle all begins when a panic-inducing situation is experienced. After the addict presses the "Panic Button, she goes in search of relief in the form of sexual release, which then turns into a craving for drugs. One form of ecstasy leads to desiring a more potent form of ecstasy, and the cycle of drug addiction is on. "Feed the Beast" is something inside the addict that is never satisfied.
About the process: this animation was created by illustrating each frame by hand on the computer. After all frames are illustrated they are added together to form an animated GIF. There are 25 frames in total. This work took 3 days to create.
