Mind Chamber - 3D Fractal Art by Spaced Painter 2015
Resolution 8500 x 11295
Enter the Mind Chamber vessel of light to be transported into the Singularity… and Beyond!
This piece is one of Spaced Painter classics and a very dear one to myself. Created back in 2015 fully within Fractal software and with no post work, this surrealist gem is a pure fractal that has taken me many months of work until this end result could be achieved.
The process is very technical and requires a tremendous number of incremental small adjustments of the mathematical code. It all started with a raw formula that I’ve manipulated until the fractal structure could be shaped bit by bit through the use of a face heightmap. I’ve then worked in the lighting until this magical math code resulted in a realistic 3D spaceship environment that one can enter in Fractal Land.
For the first time ever I am making the original HQ render accessible and at the insanely high resolution of 8500 x 11295 which is perfect for high quality large printing (personal use only) - Available as single edition to one collector who will forever own a piece of Spaced Painter history.

Wow, it's real amazing art!
Fractals are unique!
Is it Mandelbulb? Incendia?
Thanks a lot much appreciated :) It is indeed a mandelbulb fractal with MANY hours of work on it to get to this end result. This is one of my classic pieces and one of my most popular ones, lots more coming up so please stay tuned! :)
Ok, thanks!
I'll do ;))
Congrats Spaced!
Thanks a lot Gala :) I've been holding on to these insanelly high resolution master files for long, so pleased to finally get them out of the Spaced Painter vault after all these years! These pieces belong in some fine collection, very curious to find who will be the lucky collector winning the bidding :)
This is the first time I've seen a piece of digital artwork with a four figure + price tag and thought it seemed more than fair or reasonable, considering amount of work that went into it. I can't even imagine how long this must have taken. If you ever end up making any sort of tutorial videos or something like that on YouTube demonstrating how to alter fractal sets mathematically to alter the end result, please let me know!

Thank you very much for your comment my friend, highly appreciated. Not everyone's eye is trained enough to understand the amount of work and skill I put into my pieces! The full ultra High Res of of 8500 x 11295 px available to the collector who will own this piece allows for much deeper appreciation of every intricate detail of what feels like a real 3D space when experienced at it's original scale.
Each of my 3D fractal pieces has taken me from several months up to even years in some cases to complete (on and off as my skillset grew). I can't convey the passion and amount of dedication necessary to spend countless hours looking at the screen blinking my eyes while making tiny incremental adjustments to the fractal formula, over and over until I was happy with the outcome. All worth it :)
